During our trip to Utah, we drove over to Elko, Nevada to visit my sister, Nancy. She and her family moved to Elko last summer and Bryn was dying to see where Andrew lives. I took Vicky, Hayley, and Holly with me and the kids. We spent two days there and Bryn LOVED it! We played games, ate some yummy Mexican food, saw "The Proposal" (which was hilarious!), went swimming in the Elko pool, and as you can see from the picture below, Bryn and Andrew played with Legos every other minute of our visit. I thought I had a few pictures of them playing with the Legos, but this was the only photo on my camera with Legos in it. They must be on Bryn's disposable camera.
The weather there was SO NICE! The night we came out of the movie it was about 70 degrees with a cool breeze. Pure heaven!

They have an extra bedroom where they've put a tv and the video games. Nick loved the "love sack".

This is a picture of Andrew that Nancy had on the wall. If you know me well, you know I love pumpkins. I almost stuck this in my suitcase, but then decided to just take a picture of it. SO CUTE!

I don't know if you'll read this, but I hope you do. I am here in Gilbert and would love to see you. However, I left your phone number at home. Long story, but since Nathan isn't home I can't get it either. So call me, (801-643-2372) and we'll see if we can connect.

OK, apparently I can't send an e-mail because I have to sign in from a remote server and blah, blah, blah they don't have my address book. POOP! OK, I'll just have to wait and see if you call me. I'll be here through Friday night. My sister has to work on Friday during the day and I have to come to Mesa to pick her up at 2ish, so we could maybe meet for lunch in the middle, but I could also do another day. I'm not real picky. I am so far away now that they got all uppity and moved to Gilbert.
Sorry, none of these comments have anything to do with you going to Elko. You're going to sign on and think that so many people are reading and commenting on your blog. Nope, just me, being stupid as usual. :)
Well, I'm glad someone's reading my blog :-) I'd love to meet you for lunch! Bryn started school yesterday, so it would just be me and Nick. I can meet on Thursday or Friday. I can meet anytime. What would be convenient for you?
This is Shilo...I think my aunt is signed on to her Google account and I can't figure out how to get out of it. It says that I'll "lose information I may not be able to recover" so I'm not going to do that.
Anyway, like I said Friday I'll be out in the East Valley, so that might be better. Call me or leave me a number where I can call you and we can coordinate. I'll have my nephew and I don't think I can take him to Chick fil a. Blerg, I know! His peanut allergy has gotten so severe that he can't be there since they fry everything in peanut oil. I guess he'll throw up if he touches it. So, we'll have to do someplace else, sadly.
