Our Trip to the Aquarium

Dave is a member of a local Rotary club and they were offering discount tickets to the local aquarium.....I can't remember it's name.  It's near Northern and the 303.  Anyway, we don't usually turn down discount tickets :-), so we went out there last week and had a really good time.  It was sad, however; that each time we'd see a different type of fish or sea life we say, "Hey, that's like Mrs. Puff from Spongebob!" or "Hey, that's like Dori from Finding Nemo!"  I'm glad Bryn and Nick finally had the opportunity to see these creatures in real life and not on a television.

We are hoping to go there eventually--is it part of the World Wildlife Zoo? It looks fun!!

Yes, it is part of that. It's not the best aquarium I've ever been to, but the kids had fun.

Little Nick and Bryn are so darn cute. Did Nick stay in the stroller for you during your visit? We are starting to have a hard time keeping Claire in the stroller for long amounts of time. I dread the day I can no longer use it to keep her reined in.

Learning about animals from TV? Isn't that what everyone does:)

Ever been to the Monterey Aquarium? I think life as a fish would be really boring -- and why are fish always frowning? Is it because they swim around in toilet water all day?
