Halloween 2008

Nick was a cute little pumpkin.  I wanted him to be Superman, but Dave liked the cost of this costume a lot more.  My friend, Deborah, thinks we would have saved money in the long run if we had just purchased the Superman costume......she thinks he's going to need a lot of therapy after wearing this.  He wore a short sleeve shirt and shorts with this costume and still came home sweaty.  It's too hot down here!

Our little Brynie is such a tomboy!  She loves Star Wars and so she really wanted to be Obi Won Kenobi this year.  She looked great!  And yes, there are female Jedis in the Star Wars movies.  She had so much fun, and now she has a great outfit to wear when playing with her light-saber.

DON'T MESS WITH ME!

Love the demonstration of the light saber. And talk about your roll reversal. I had my babies all in the same pumkin costume before they hit 1 year old...Deborah's right, superman might have been a good investment. Remember Ralphie from the Christmas Story? Yah - keep poor Nick away from pink bunnies for next year, okay?

love the video clip of bryn, and nick is a cute pumpkin but i am sticking with superman. maybe you should buy next years halloween costume now while they are sell so he won't be the pink bunny.

I tried to find a cool costume at a discount price, but they were all gone. They had a few "super girl" and "cheerleader" but I don't want him to need THAT kind of therapy.

I'm voting for no therapy for Nick. He's two. You gotta go with what's cheap at that stage. I think that my kid's going to need a whole lot of therapy for other stuff. The pumpkin costume will be a drop in the bucket.

Davis had the same costume as Bryn -- let me hazard a guess -- Target? His birthday was last week and asked for 4 Lightsabers so that the grand total would be 5 -- one for each of us. We haven't had our lightsaber fight yet but I have been trippin over the stinkin' things all day long. I find them EVERYWHERE. Maybe I should Davis to Arizona to hang out with Bryn. hee hee
