Thieves!

We noticed today, after getting home from church, that our "Yes on 102" sign was missing.  My first thought was "Good, I won't have to dig it out and throw it away on Wednesday."  But now I'm mad.  There are a lot of ignorant people out there who don't "get" that I can say what I want and I can put a peaceful sign in my yard if I want because I live in the USA.  I don't like all the signs along the road at the corner of Dysart & Camelback, but you don't see me out there pulling them up.  Come on, people!  Stay out of my yard!  If you have a problem with my first amendment rights, my husband would happily demonstrate my second amendment rights to anyone caught taking a sign from our private property again. (thanks for adding that, Dave :-)

Remind me to bring my body armor next time I visit.
My friend who lives in California has had her sign stolen numerous times. She's seen people's signs ripped up, one sprayed with paint and other people who just put a "NO" sign by the people's "YES" sign. She had a ward member who's sign was started on fire. ON FIRE! In their yard. That could have burned the place down. And what do the police do? Not a blasted thing. It's really, really sad.
Liberals are so tolerant, right? HA!

My yes on 8 sign was stolen the first weekend, so I got another one, and stuck it in my window. I was a wimp and didn't put a Yes on 8 bumper sticker on my van 'cuz I work in a pretty liberal area of town and didn't want my van scratched. Jason is out with Olivia right now walking a neighborhood and hanging door fliers. I will be so happy when this election is over. Today while I was driving home from church I saw a 20something punk kid jump out of his car and he stole a No on Prop 8from the intersection, and well, it made me happy.

My favorite thing (sorry to comment again) was when I saw people picketing the LA Temple....on SUNDAY! I think it's funny that people think that's where we go to church.

It's scary when people don't respect others' property and the simple basic rights we are guaranteed by the Constitution and Bill of Rights. I'm sorry someone took your sign. I would have been furious.
