Service Swap

My ward's Relief Society (my church) recently had a service swap.  It was such a great idea.  I wasn't able to attend, but my friend Brenda swapped for me so I could still give service to someone.  How it worked is that you think of some kind of service you could give; whether it be babysitting, dinner, decorated birthday cake, what ever you are willing to do for someone else.  At the meeting, everyone wrote what their service was on an index card.  They then played that game, you know, the white elephant can pick a service out of the basket or steal what someone else picked.  Brenda said it was really fun.

My service was 20 handmade Christmas cards.  I had actually sent Brenda with a card that looked like the ones in the pictures.  Maylene ended up with mine, but only after stealing it from someone else.  I wish I could have been there, it sounds like they had a fun time.  Anyway, I finally finished them.  I hope she likes them.  It was fun making them.

By the way, I "won" free babysitting.  Can't wait to take advantage of that one!

I LOVE the cards...actually I was going to do a post on them on my blog this weekend. You are so talented. I think I was lucky to end up with your "service"!
